Narrikup Netball Club prides itself on maintaining a team of experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated coaches. We are committed not only to supporting our players but also to developing our coaches, ensuring they continue to grow their skills beyond foundational experience.

Our club creates a supportive coaching environment where every coach is encouraged to expand their knowledge and capabilities. With strong support systems in place, our coaches are well-equipped to share their expertise, giving players access to a wealth of knowledge that helps them develop into the best individuals—and ultimately, the best team—they can be.

Developing Future Coaches

Narrikup Netball Club is passionate about nurturing the next generation of coaches. We actively encourage young and emerging coaches to join our coaching team as trainees.

In this role, trainee coaches work alongside experienced mentors, gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing essential skills such as:

• Game management
• Training plan development
• Communication and people skills

This pathway provides a strong foundation for those looking to build confidence and capability in coaching.

Coach Selection Process

All coaches at Narrikup Netball Club are carefully selected by our Committee.

Prospective coaches are invited to submit an Expression of Interest, outlining their experience and the age group they feel best suited to coach. The Coaching Coordinator then reviews all applications and presents a plan to the Committee.

Appointments are made with the best interests of the coach, players, and teams in mind, ensuring a positive and successful season for all.
