Life Membership at Narrikup Netball Club

At Narrikup Netball Club, Life Membership is a special honour awarded to individuals who have shown exceptional dedication and service to the club over many years. It is our way of expressing gratitude to those who have helped shape the club’s history and spirit.

What Is Life Membership?

Life Members are people who have gone above and beyond in supporting the club, whether through volunteering, leadership, coaching, or simply being a consistent and positive presence. Their contributions have made a lasting impact, and Life Membership is a recognition of that legacy.

How It Works

Each year, the club invites nominations for Life Membership in the lead-up to our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Here’s a quick overview of the process:

• Nominations Open: Members can nominate someone they believe deserves Life Membership.

• Committee Review: The Management Committee reviews nominations based on the club’s criteria.

• AGM Decision: If endorsed by the committee, the nomination is presented at the AGM. Life Membership is granted if at least 75% of voting members support the nomination.

What Life Members Can Do

Life Members remain an important part of our club community. They:

• Can attend and vote at General Meetings

• Are eligible to hold office (if they remain financial members)

• Continue to be celebrated and involved in club life
