Narrikup Netball Club members have the opportunity to participate in several carnivals throughout the season. These events help players develop skills, gain experience, and connect with the wider netball community.
Kojonup Set and Go Carnival
For: Developing players in the Set & Go divisions
Hosted by: Kojonup Netball Association
Team Nomination: Submitted by Narrikup Netball Club
A fun and supportive carnival designed for our youngest players who are learning the foundations of netball. The focus is on participation, teamwork, and building confidence.
Albany City Nissan Junior Carnival
For: Age groups 11, 12, and 13
When: Sunday in June
Team Nomination: Clubs nominate and register their own teams
Teams from across the Great Southern come together for a fun, participation-based carnival. This event is a great opportunity for junior players to gain game experience, build friendships, and enjoy a day of competitive but supportive netball.
Fuel to Go & Play (FTG&P) Association Championships – Perth
Level: Albany Netball Association (ANA) representative event
When: June long weekend
Selection: ANA trials → squad selection → final team trials
Players interested in representing the ANA must attend official trials. Selections are made by an independent grading committee, and all communication regarding results comes directly from the ANA.
This is an opportunity for players to compete at a higher level and challenge themselves against strong competition from across the state.

Great Southern Championship Carnival - Albany or Esperence
Level: Regional competition - selection is made from Association Championships - Perth
When: After Association Championship - Perth
Team Nomination: Albany Netball Association
This carnival is run in a similar format to Association Championships, with teams competing against others from across the Great Southern region. It provides players with the opportunity to experience representative-style competition and challenge themselves against strong regional opponents with the opportunity to be selected into further development pathways.

Event Status: Runs only if enough teams register
A fast-paced, high-intensity pre-season carnival that sharpens athleticism, decision-making, and team connectivity. Fast Five rules create a dynamic and exciting environment that helps prepare players for the season ahead.
Over 30’s Netball Carnival
Team Nomination: Narrikup Netball Club
Eligibility: Players aged 30+
Event Status: Runs only if enough teams register
A fun and competitive carnival for experienced players who want to stay active, enjoy the game, and connect with others in the netball community. It’s a great way for long-time players to continue their involvement in the sport.
