NetSetGo
What is NetSetGo?
NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s official introductory program designed for young children who are new to netball. It focuses on learning the basics of the game in a fun, safe and inclusive environment, helping children build confidence, coordination and teamwork.
The program is ideal for beginners and gives children their first experience of netball in a supportive, age‑appropriate setting.
This Program is an Albany Netball Association Program (ANA).
NetSetGO is generally aimed at children:
- In Pre‑Primary to Year 4, or
- Approximately 5 to 10 years of age
The program caters for young players at different stages of development, with activities and modified rules designed to suit their age and ability.
What does NetSetGO involve?
NetSetGO introduces children to netball through:
- Modified rules and simple, engaging activities
- Skill development including passing, catching, movement and balance
- A strong focus on fun, participation and fair play
- Opportunities to make new friends and feel part of a team
Sessions are designed to build confidence while keeping the experience enjoyable and pressure‑free.
